The Spanish ocean liner will make 22 port calls in Brazil between November 28 this year and March 1, 2027, most of them in Santos (Corazul Cruceros/Divulgação) The Spanish company Corazul Cruzeiros will enter the Brazilian tourism market with the ship Buenavista in the next cruise season (2026/2027), increasing the number of vessels available in Brazil. The ocean liner will make 22 calls at Brazilian ports between November 28 this year and March 1, 2027, most of them at Porto de Santos, as well as stops in Recife (PE) and Salvador (BA). “The Brazilian market has always been one of those the company had in mind due to the attractiveness of its itineraries and the strong cruise tradition in recent years,” Corazul’s Vice President of Sales, Àlex Busquets, told A Tribuna. Measuring 261 meters in length, flying the Spanish flag and with capacity for 2,231 passengers, Buenavista will make its first call in Brazil at the Port of Recife (PE) on November 28, where it will also conclude its stay in the country on March 1, 2027. At Porto de Santos, the ocean liner will make 16 calls, the first on December 15 and the last on February 23, 2027. “Porto de Santos will be our main home port (turnaround port) in Brazil. Most itineraries start and end in Santos. In addition, we will also depart from Recife in November and early December. In our first season, we will call only at Brazilian ports.” Travel package sales The Vice President of Sales said the company “is already negotiating with agencies to sell packages in Brazil. At the moment, we cannot disclose which agencies we are in talks with, but the final agreements are already being drafted, so sales will begin soon.” Corazul Corazul Cruzeiros is a new company and operates a single ship. In a statement released this month, the cruise line announced that Buenavista’s inaugural voyage is scheduled for July 8 this year, departing from the Port of Barcelona, Spain, marking “the official start of Corazul Cruzeiros’ operations.” According to the statement, the company was created to fill a gap in the Spanish cruise market. “Corazul Cruzeiros was created to address this gap with a project designed from the ground up, rather than as an adaptation of existing international models.” More information about the ship, itineraries and onboard experience is available online.
