Área em consulta é destinada à granéis sólidos e cargas gerais e conteinerizadas no porto do Litoral Norte (Divulgação) The National Agency for Waterway Transportation (Antaq) opens a public consultation regarding the leasing of terminal SSB01, located at the Port of São Sebastião on the North Coast. The area is designated for the handling and storage of solid bulk and general and containerized cargo. The lease term is 35 years, with an estimated investment of R\$ 660 million. The public consultation is part of the federal government's process for leasing the area and, along with public hearing 13/2024, which will be held (on a date to be defined), aims to gather contributions, subsidies, and suggestions to improve the technical and legal documents related to the bidding process for the area. How to participate The legal drafts and technical documents related to the public hearing are available here. The contribution period runs until November 28. Contributions must be made exclusively through the electronic form available on the Antaq website; submissions via other means will not be accepted. It will be allowed to attach digital images, such as maps, plans, and photos, exclusively via email at anexo_audiencia132024@antaq.gov.br, identifying the contributor and within the stipulated timeframe. Sending the attachment by email does not exempt the written contribution via the electronic form. Regulating yard Also at the Port of São Sebastião, the receipt of proposals from companies interested in building a truck sorting yard continues until November. Public Call 2/2024 was launched on August 28 by the Companhia Docas de São Sebastião (CDSS), with a 90-day deadline. Proposals must be sent to the email licitacoes@portoss.com.br. The aim of the yard is to expedite cargo flow and improve conditions for truck drivers heading to the City Port. The new structure is expected to provide logistical support and prevent congestion of heavy vehicles waiting in the access roads of the port area for loading or unloading. It will also benefit truck drivers, who will have new facilities with food, hygiene, and accommodation services. The location is expected to include changing rooms, bathrooms, and appropriate spaces for meals. Stages The credentialing process will occur in two stages. In the documentation phase, interested companies will present proposals. The selected company will have 12 months to implement the project, which anticipates 150 spaces for bitrem trucks. The definitive credentialing will occur with authorization to start operations in São Sebastião, at the end of the project's implementation.
