Over 185,900 passengers are expected to pass through the Giusfredo Santini Passenger Terminal at the Port of Santos this month. Eight ships will make 28 port calls, starting last Thursday and continuing until January 31. On the 26th, when the city of Santos celebrates its 479th anniversary, three cruise ships will be docked. In total, five regular-route ships are scheduled for january, including three from MSC Cruises (Seaview, Splendida, and Grandiosa) and two from Costa Cruises (Diadema and Pacifica). Javier Carnevale, Operations Manager at Concais, which manages the Giusfredo Santini Terminal, highlighted that “in addition to the ships with regular embarkations, there is also excitement around themed cruises featuring performances by artists such as Ana Castela, Leo Santana, Zé Neto e Cristiano, Wesley Safadão, Gustavo Mioto, and Thiaguinho.” For those who enjoy watching the arrivals and departures of cruise ships at Ponta da Praia, this morning offers the docking of MSC Grandiosa and Costa Diadema, both arriving in the morning and departing in the late afternoon. On Sunday, during the same timeframes, Costa Pacifica and MSC Seaview will call at the Port of Santos. Partial season update According to Concais, more than 282,700 passengers have already passed through the cruise terminal since the start of the 2024/2025 season on November 8. This total includes 139,437 passengers embarking, 132,558 disembarking, and 10,659 in transit.
