Santos-Guarujá Tunnel: office to assist property owners who may be subject to expropriation for the project

TSG Concessionária S.A. will begin assisting, in September, property owners whose properties may be subject to expropriation in the area where one of the access points to the Santos-Guarujá immersed tunnel will be built, in the Macuco neighborhood of Santos. The office will be located in one of the buildings belonging to the Autoridade Portuária de Santos (APS), on Rua Dr. Esmeraldo Soares Tarquínio, at the intersection with Avenida Conselheiro Rodrigues.

The agreement for the use of the premises was formalized between APS and TSG at a meeting held on Thursday (6) at the administrative headquarters of the Porto of Santos. According to APS, the office will be installed in the building located at the site where one of the tunnel access points will be built, in Macuco. Services are expected to begin within 30 days.

According to the port administration, the service will be available to residents and other interested parties who wish to learn more about the project, have questions answered, or submit requests related to the construction work.

The concession notice for the immersed tunnel provides for the expropriation of 65 houses and commercial properties on Rua José do Patrocínio, covering an area of 43,000 square meters (m²). The alignment encompasses a superblock between Rua José Patrocínio and Avenida Conselheiro Rodrigues Alves, extending from the vicinity of Avenida Senador Dantas to Rua Almirante Tamandaré, which involves isolating the entire construction area and tunnel access zone.
