Revenue of Port of Itajaí grows 134% in January

APS took over the administration of Itajaí at the beginning of this year at the request of the Ministry of Ports and Airports (Port of Itajaí/Disclosure)

The Port of Itajaí, in Santa Catarina, under the first month of administration by the Santos Port Authority (APS), generated R\$ 18 million in revenue, an impressive growth of 134.9% compared to January 2024 (when revenue was R\$ 7.67 million).

“This result reflects APS’s commitment to good public administration and to strengthening the Port of Itajaí for the benefit of port operators and workers throughout the region, especially in Itajaí and Navegantes”, said APS President Anderson Pomini.

The result was achieved through the provision of port services and the application of previously unimplemented adjustments. This initiative resulted in a recovery of R\$ 2.2 million for the port’s accounts.

“We can achieve much more”, emphasized André Bonini, the APS-appointed superintendent of the Port of Itajaí.
