Four cities in Baixada Santista may receive truck courtyards (Reproduction/APS) The Santos Port Authority (APS) and the Mixed Parliamentary Front for National Ports have announced that the public hearing to discuss the expansion of areas designated for truck regulation courtyards and future logistics complexes at the Port of Santos has been rescheduled. The event, previously set for February 26, will now take place on March 14 at 5:00 PM in the APS auditorium (Conselheiro Rodrigues Alves Avenue, Macuco, Santos). The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the implementation of four logistics complexes in the municipalities of Guarujá, São Vicente, Santos, and Cubatão, which will regulate truck access and accommodate more than 2,800 vehicles, offering infrastructure and services to truck drivers. "With the expansion of the Port of Santos and the intense circulation of approximately 8,000 trucks per day, these areas are essential for organizing traffic and reducing impacts on the municipalities in the region", says APS. The public may attend the hearing upon identification at the entrance, presenting a photo ID and CPF number for security purposes.
