The complex will house a truck staging yard with 417 spaces and a logistics support services area (Alexsander Ferraz/AT) The Port Authority of Santos (APS) is analyzing the basic plan for the construction of a logistics complex for trucks in Guarujá, on the Left Bank of the Port of Santos. APS signed a contract with Conecta Log Condomínio Logístico on August 26 for the implementation and operation of the logistics complex. According to the Port Authority, some steps still need to be completed. If there are no objections to the basic plan, APS will issue a notice, after which the parties must sign the Provisional Acceptance and Permission for Use of Assets Agreement within 30 days. The signing of the agreement will be considered the date on which the concessionaire takes over the site, allowing the planned investments and the start of operations within a period of up to three years. The 163,100-square-meter (m²) area is located in the Conceiçãozinha neighborhood, in the District of Vicente de Carvalho. The complex will house a truck staging yard with 417 spaces, a logistics support services area and space for covered warehouses. Conecta Log Condomínio Logístico was established as a Special Purpose Entity (SPE) by Consórcio Marlog-Petrasalis Logística, which won the bidding process on December 17, 2025. The paid-use concession agreement has a 20-year term, and the estimated total revenue to be generated over the period is R\$815.8 million. The new concessionaire will have to invest R\$ 195.4 million in the facilities. “The logistics complex will be essential to help accommodate the thousands of trucks that travel through the Port of Santos every day. It will also be an important tool for the Left Bank to prepare for growing demand in the coming years, especially with the arrival of the Santos-Guarujá tunnel”, said APS President Anderson Pomini. It is worth noting that the logistics complex planned for the Right Bank, between Saboó and Alemoa, remains stalled due to a court decision.
