The Port Authority of Santos (APS), responsible for the public infrastructure and management of the Port of Santos, in partnership with the Santos Center of Port Excellence Foundation (Cenep), is offering funding grants for undergraduate, master's and doctoral students in areas of interest to the port sector. The Applied Research Funding Grant announcement, available in the Cenep website, aims to promote scientific and technological advancements in the port sector by providing opportunities for professors, researchers and students to develop innovative projects in this field. Funding details The grants provide financial support for research. They range from R\$ 694,44 to R\$ 2,083,33 per month, in addition to funding for project expenses, which can reach up to R\$ 25.000 per project. The main goal of the grants is to strengthen the connection between academia and the port sector, ensuring that research outcomes are applicable and contribute effectively to the challenges and opportunities faced by the port industry. Eligibility requirements According to the rules, interested students must be regularly enrolled in higher education institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), meeting academic requirements and committing to the success of the proposed projects.
