According to the company, the project reinforces its commitment to the continuous improvement of its operations (Movecta/Disclosure) Movecta has added 32 new vehicles to the fleet at its Guarujá unit. The expansion includes 30 semi-trailer combinations and two rigid box trucks. The vehicles serve customers in the Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LTL) segments, operating primarily on routes across the Southeastern states of Brazil. This marks the second fleet expansion at the Guarujá unit since 2025, when Movecta added ten tractor units in May of that year. The latest investment reflects the growing demand for logistics solutions in the port region. The fleet expansion has also been accompanied by the growth of the operational team. Approximately 60 new drivers have been hired and work on a shift basis, ensuring greater vehicle availability and faster deliveries. According to João Roberto Montemurro, Movecta's Transportation Manager for the region, the initiative is part of a consistent strategy for growth and operational modernization. "We are investing not only in capacity, but also in quality, safety, and reliability for our customers. This reinforcement enables us to increase efficiency, improve on-time delivery performance, and meet the market's growing demands with an even higher level of excellence", he said. According to the company, the project reinforces its position as a logistics provider committed to the continuous improvement of its operations, "maintaining a strong focus on innovation, safety, and a high level of service." It also strengthens Guarujá's position "as one of the strategic hubs of its nationwide operations", the company stated.
