Missão Internacional Porto & Mar 2026 brings itinerary focused on innovation, logistics and technology

The Missão Internacional Porto & Mar 2026, promoted by Grupo Tribuna , begins this Sunday (24) in China, taking Brazilian entrepreneurs, executives and authorities on an immersion into some of the world’s most advanced environments in logistics, infrastructure, innovation and technology applied to the productive sector. Over the course of ten days, the delegation will travel through Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong on an agenda that combines technical visits, institutional meetings and experiences aimed at understanding models that help shape global trade.

More than a business trip, the mission was designed as a platform for strategic observation. At a time when logistics efficiency, artificial intelligence, automation and multimodal integration have become decisive factors for international competitiveness, the Brazilian group will seek direct contact with solutions and structures that have placed China at the center of global production and distribution chains.

This year’s edition takes place following the mission carried out in the United States in 2025 and broadens the perspective on the world’s major infrastructure and development ecosystems. This time, the focus is on a country that has transformed technology, industrial scale and logistics planning into instruments of economic expansion and global influence.

“We seek to understand which projects have been generating concrete results and which solutions have proven most efficient throughout the production chain, whether in operational agility, workforce training, sustainability or efficiency gains”, explains Roberto Clemente Santini, CEO of TV Tribuna .

First stop: Beijing

The program begins in Beijing today with the official reception of the delegation and a welcome dinner. Starting tomorrow, participants will dive into technical agendas focused on innovation, artificial intelligence, autonomous mobility and digital transformation, including visits to technology centers and companies linked to the development of advanced solutions for cities, industry and logistics.

“In addition to the technical aspect, these experiences also create important opportunities for knowledge exchange among entrepreneurs, executives and public managers. China is currently experiencing a period of strong technological advancement and impresses with its ability to scale solutions across different areas of infrastructure and logistics. For this reason, expectations for this mission are very high”, Roberto adds.

Although located far from the coast, Beijing is part of one of China’s most important logistics corridors, connected to the Port of Tianjin — a strategic structure for supply, exports and cargo circulation in the northern part of the country. The regional integration model adopted by China is precisely one of the aspects attracting the interest of the Brazilian delegation, especially in discussions related to operational efficiency, connectivity and long-term planning.

The modernity of Shanghai

Next, the mission heads to Shanghai, home to the largest container port on the planet and one of the greatest symbols of China’s logistics capabilities. There, the delegation will come into contact with structures linked to port automation, heavy industry, naval engineering and equipment used in large-scale maritime operations.

Today, Shanghai represents much more than a major port complex. The city has established itself as an environment where port operations, industry, technology and urban planning function in an integrated manner — a concept being closely observed by representatives of the Brazilian sector in light of the expansion, modernization and productivity challenges faced by national ports.

The itinerary also includes Hong Kong, one of Asia’s leading financial and maritime hubs. The city concludes the mission’s program with agendas focused on global connectivity, international trade and logistics integration, in an environment marked by the intense circulation of goods, capital and services.

“I have very positive expectations for this mission, mainly because of the opportunity to closely observe the ports, new technologies and innovation models developed by China. It is a country that stands out for its entrepreneurial capacity, scale and the speed with which it transforms ideas into practical solutions. Throughout the trip, the proposal of the Missão Internacional Porto & Mar 2026 will be to bring Brazilian leaders closer to experiences capable of generating practical impact in the country. The objective is not to replicate models automatically, but to broaden perspectives, identify trends and understand how different regions structure solutions for issues such as port capacity, logistics flow, technological innovation and competitiveness.

The initiative gains special relevance for the Baixada Santista region, home to the Port of Santos — the main port complex in the Southern Hemisphere and a central component of the Brazilian economy.
