Cruise passengers to watch New Year's Eve fireworks in Santos will happen for the first time

For the first time, Santos will have a passenger ship anchored in the bay during the New Year's Eve fireworks. This is the Costa Pacifica, which will have thousands of people on board. The attraction is the result of the partnership between the Municipality and the Costa Cruises company. The arrival of the Costa Pacifica marks the return of the ocean liner to the Port of Santos.

"We will have 5,000 people on the Costa Pacifica, including 3,800 passengers, plus the crew, to pay tribute to the city of Santos, which has always been a partner of Costa and the cruise industry. Packages are already being sold", celebrated the executive president of Costa Cruises for the Americas, Dario Rustico.

The Costa Pacifica will embark guests in Rio de Janeiro and Santos for seven night cruises and mini-cruises of three, four and five nights, with embarkation at the Santos dock and alternating stops in Búzios, Angra dos Reis, Ilhabela and Balneário Camboriú.

The ocean liner has 1,500 cabins, restaurants and bars, a theater, a sports field, a water park with a water slide, three swimming pools and five jacuzzis. There are also spaces for children and teenagers.

2024/2025 Season

The cruise season in Santos will run from November 8th of this year to April 20th, 2025. According to Clia Brazil, 15 ships, both regular and in transit, will pass through the Giusfredo Santini Passenger Maritime Terminal, operated by Concais, making 135 stops.
