Consultation begins on lease of terminal with over R$ 41 million in investments

Terminal IQI16, at the Port of Itaqui in Maranhão, is designated for handling and storage of solid mineral bulk (Disclosure)

The National Waterway Transport Agency (Antaq) launched a public consultation on Monday (4) to gather input for refining the technical and legal documents related to leasing area IQI16 at the Port of Itaqui (MA).

The terminal is intended for handling and storage of solid mineral bulk, especially fertilizers. The projected direct investment in the project is R\$ 41.07 million.

The virtual public session on the bidding will take place on November 21, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. The session will be broadcast on Antaq’s YouTube channel. No registration is required to view the hearing.

The period for submitting written contributions runs until January 2, 2025, exclusively via an electronic form.
