The meeting will take place on November 7 at the Agency's headquarters in Brasília (Disclosure) With the aim of deepening studies on operational costs and methodological adjustments, the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) will hold a public hearing on November 7 to review the resolution that defines the rules and coefficients for the minimum freight rate for road transport of cargo in the country. Scheduled to be held at ANTT’s headquarters in Brasília, the meeting will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a live broadcast on ANTT’s YouTube channel. The contribution period will begin tomorrow and will run until November 22. Resolution 5.867/2020 establishes the criteria for determining the minimum freight rate based on kilometers traveled, taking into account the number of loaded vehicle axles. Since the publication of the resolution, ANTT has been reviewing the values. Two issues will be discussed. One is the exclusive consideration of S10 diesel as a reference for calculating costs, as some truck drivers use S500 diesel. The other issue is related to the enforcement of the minimum freight rate when the company issues the document without the service price.
