Terminal located at Porto de Maceió (AL), which will be auctioned, is also detailed on the agency’s website (Disclosure/Antaq) The National Agency for Waterway Transportation (Antaq) has launched a new page on its website compiling information on all concession projects in the waterway sector. The dashboard, accessible via a provided link, is available on the agency's main page under the "Featured Topics" section. At this initial stage, only projects currently in progress (in study phase, social participation, under review by the Federal Court of Accounts, or with a published call for bids) are available. However, Antaq states that information on all areas that have undergone or will undergo the bidding process will be released soon. Among the projects already listed are the ITG02 terminal in Itaguaí (RJ), MCP03 in Santana (AP), and MAC16 in Maceió (AL), which will be auctioned next Wednesday. The first proposal for the concession of a waterway access channel in Brazil, at Paranaguá Port (PR), and other ventures are also included. Transparency The goal of this new feature is to ensure greater transparency in port leasing processes, as well as to simplify access for regulated entities, civil society, and stakeholders interested in concession projects. Through the new area on the website, users will be able to find information about the project's current phase, the terminal's process number, the type of lease, the cargo profile, the area, the term, investment volume, location, site plans, and other useful data. This marks the first time that projects in various stages of the bidding process have been consolidated in a single section on Antaq's website. Previously, all this information was accessible but scattered across different pages, depending on the project phase.
