Entre as atualizações, destaque para o novo prazo para contratos de transição, que passa para um ano (Vanessa Rodrigues/AT) During a board meeting on Thursday (3), the National Agency for Waterway Transport (Antaq) approved the revision of the contributions received during Public Hearing 2/2024. The goal of the public participation was to change Regulatory Resolution 7/2016, which regulates the operation of port areas and facilities located within the boundaries of public ports. Among the updates, highlights include the new deadline for transition contracts, which have been extended from six months to one year, the requirement for prior authorization from Antaq for the signing of passage contracts, and the definition of the contract for the use of the water mirror. The topic, which was included in the 2022/2024 Regulatory Agenda, not only updates the methods of operation but also introduces new concepts. The Agency held a public hearing on the subject between February and April of last year. During this period, 241 contributions were received, of which 51 were accepted, and 19 were partially accepted.
