Missão Internacional Porto & Mar 2026 reaches its final stage in Hong Kong

The Missão Internacional Porto & Mar 2026 entered its final stage last weekend with the arrival of the Brazilian delegation in Hong Kong, one of Asia’s most dynamic and strategic cities.

After several days of intensive activities in Beijing and Shanghai, marked by visits to technology companies, innovation centers, logistics operations, smart factories, and the world’s largest container port, business leaders, executives, and public officials arrived at the new destination on Saturday evening.

Sunday was reserved for a break from the official schedule. Following a week of virtually uninterrupted commitments, the free day allowed mission participants to recharge and independently explore some of the city’s attractions.

Beginning today, however, activities will resume at a fast pace. The Hong Kong program was designed to introduce the delegation to some of the region’s leading examples of innovation, technology, and infrastructure, reinforcing one of the mission’s central objectives: connecting Brazilian business leaders with experiences capable of generating knowledge, relationships, and business opportunities.

Among the highlights of the agenda is a visit to Hong Kong Science Park, considered one of Asia’s leading technology innovation hubs. The complex brings together hundreds of companies, startups, research centers, and projects focused on developing solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, sustainability, and digital transformation.

The delegation will also travel to Shenzhen, a neighboring city that has become one of the most prominent symbols of China’s technological growth in recent decades. Another important item on the agenda will be a visit to the Port of Yantian, one of the world’s largest container terminals and a strategic component of the logistics chains connecting China to international markets.
